Preparation

Prepare a list of familiar song titles. Use songs the group knows well enough to guess.

Step-by-step

  1. 1Split the group into teams or invite volunteers one at a time.
  2. 2Give one participant or small team a song title.
  3. 3They act out the title without speaking, singing, spelling, or mouthing words.
  4. 4The rest of the group guesses the song.
  5. 5Once it is guessed, sing a short part of the song together.
  6. 6To make it longer, play several rounds with teams earning points.
  7. 7To make it more challenging, require the actors to show the mood, rhythm, or story of the song instead of acting out the literal title.
